Preseason Rookies of the Week

PRE-SEASON WEEK FOUR ROOKIE OF THE WEEK:
SEATTLE SEAHAWKS
RB - CHRISTINE MICHAEL (2ND ROUND/TEXAS A&M)
Christine Michael has always had the physical tools, but the mental aspect has been his downfall. He found his way into Texas A&M head coach Kevin Sumlin's doghouse last year, but his talent and potential got him drafted at the end of the second round. His combination of speed and power were on display against the Packers on Friday night. Michael carried the ball 11 times for 97 yards and a touchdown. He covered 43 yards very quickly on his touchdown. With Marshawn Lynch entrenched as the starter, the Seahawks are in great shape at the running back position, with Michael and Robert Turbin getting the leftover carries.
PRE-SEASON WEEK THREE ROOKIE OF THE WEEK:
NEW ORLEANS SAINTS
WR- KENNY STILLS (5TH ROUND/OKLAHOMA)
Kenny Stills has taken the Saints camp by storm. Stills slipped to the 5th round, but has made a impact early for New Orleans. Stills possesses exceptional speed, and great hands. He could be the Saints #3 WR this year. Against the Raiders, he earned Drew Brees trust. Stills had 4 catches for 64 yards and one touchdown.
PRE-SEASON WEEK TWO ROOKIE OF THE WEEK:

BUFFALO BILLS
QB- E.J. MANUEL (1ST ROUND/FLORIDA STATE)
E.J. Manuel started to move up draft boards after a great performance during Senior Bowl week. The Bills surprised many by drafting him in the first round. He was the only QB selected in round one. New coach Doug Marrone had to like what he saw from his young QB on Sunday. Manuel went 16 of 21 passing for 107 yards and one touchdown. He also carried the ball 3 times for 28 yards. His touchdown pass came with 14 seconds left in the half. With the injury to veteran QB Kevin Kolb, Manuel played the entire first half. The Bills have a lot of young talent on offense, and could be a fun team to watch grow in 2013.
