Quick Draft Dish: FCS Kickoff

FCS KICKOFF
NORTH DAKOTA STATE @ MONTANA
·        NDSU QB (#11) Carson Wentz is highly thought of by many in the Draft Twitter community. He is about to be highly thought of by many around the country. Wentz possesses prototypical NFL QB size (6’5” 230). He has a huge arm, where he routinely makes big time throws like the 15 yard out. He has athletic ability you would not think a man his size would have. He isn’t Cam Newton by any means, but he isn’t Peyton Manning back there either. He has some footwork issues he needs to work on, like throwing off his back foot sometimes, but those can be fixed. The Bison do not play any FBS opponents this year, so his level of competition may work against him in some evaluations.
·        MONTANA WR (#6) Jamaal Jones is a transfer from WASHINGTON. He transferred after his redshirt freshman season. Jones has good size at 6’1” 191 pounds. He shows excellent body control and catching ability. In this game, his route tree was limited, but this is likely a product of the offense he plays in. He shows decent, but not great speed. He has the skill set that may warrant a late draft pick.

·        I will continue to peak at MONTANA QB (#3) Brady Gustafson. He is a junior that is unlikely to declare, but he has many traits that will serve him well during the 2017 NFL Draft process.
