7-237-196-Seantrel Henderson-Sr-OT-6'7-331-Miami (FL)-41
TOTAL PICK VALUE: (199)
AVERAGE PICK VALUE: (28)
BEST VALUE PICK: Cyril Richardson, OG, Baylor
BIGGEST REACH PICK: Ross Cockrell, CB, Duke
NOTABLE UNDRAFTED SIGNINGS:
DS-Kenny Ladler-Sr-6'0-205-Vanderbilt
QB-Kenny Guiton-Sr-6'2-210-Ohio State
ANALYSIS: The Bills made a bold move, by trading a 2015 1st and 4th round pick, to move up from 9 to 4 to acquire Watkins. Watkins joins a very young and talented receiving corps. The Bills then traded veteran WR Stevie Johnson to the 49ers for a 2015 4th. If his knees holdup, Koundjio could be a foundation at right tackle for years. Henderson has more natural talent than most tackles in the league, but he has serious effort and other off-field issues. Richardson is a tremendous run blocker, but he struggles in pass pro at times. Brown and Cockrell are solid players, just drafted way early for my tastes.
MIAMI DOLPHINS

OLB-Derrell Johnson-Sr-6'1-257-East Carolina
DT-Kamal Johnson-Sr-6'4-302-Temple
OT-Davonte Wallace-Sr-6'4-290-New Mexico State
ANALYSIS: I do not doubt that Ja’Wuan James will be a solid starter for Miami, but pick 19 seems really high for our 100th ranked player. I do think the Dolphins did a great job of filling needs. Turner may find his home inside at guard. Landry should be a solid #2 receiver from day one. Aikens is an underrated corner. Lynch should be the #2 TE for the Dolphins. Tripp and Hazel should be good special teams additions while working their way up the depth chart. I also think that several of the undrafted players have a chance to make the team.
NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS

7-244-253-Jeremy Gallon-Sr-WR-5'7-184-Michigan-(9)
TOTAL PICK VALUE: (356)
AVERAGE PICK VALUE: (40)
BEST VALUE PICK: Jon Halapio, OG, Florida
BIGGEST REACH PICK: James White, RB, Wisconsin
NOTABLE UNDRAFTED SIGNINGS:
RB-Roy Finch-Sr-5'6-177-Oklahoma
ILB-James Morris-Sr-6'0-240-Iowa
TE-Asa Watson-Sr-6'2-239-NC State
LS-Tyler Ott-Sr-6'3-245-Harvard
CB-Jordan Love-Sr-6'0-182-Towson
DS-Shamiel Gary-Sr-6'0-205-Oklahoma State
ANALYSIS: The Patriots draft was kind of out there.  I like the pick of Easley, if he is healthy. That is a big if. Garappolo is the new heir apparent to Tom Brady at QB. He should replace Ryan Mallet, who the Patriots will likely trade before the season begins. Stork, Halapio, and Fleming should be solid backup linemen. Gallon fits the mold of the undersized wide outs that they seem to like.
NEW YORK JETS

7-233-257-Trevor Reilly-Sr-OLB-6'5-245-Utah-(24)
TOTAL PICK VALUE: (429)
AVERAGE PICK VALUE: (36)
BEST VALUE PICK: Tajh Boyd, QB, Clemson
BIGGEST REACH PICK: Dexter McDougle, CB, Maryland
NOTABLE UNDRAFTED SIGNINGS:
DT-Kerry Hyder-Sr-6'2-290-Texas Tech
OT-Brent Qvale-Sr-6'7-315-Nebraska
FB-Chad Young-Sr-5'10-240-San Diego State
ANALYSIS: The Jets took a lot of reaches in this draft, but none more than McDougle. McDougle was our 38th ranked corner, mostly due to his injury history. Pryor is an enforcer type at safety, that will bring nastiness to the Jets secondary. Amaro is the downfield threat at TE, which Geno Smith needs. Shaq Evans and Jalen Saunders will also be solid contributors to the Geno Smith cause.
BALTIMORE RAVENS

TOTAL PICK VALUE: (139)

BEST VALUE PICK:         Timmy Jernigan, DT, Florida State
BIGGEST REACH PICK: Lorenzo Taliaferro, RB, Coastal Carolina
NOTABLE UNDRAFTED SIGNINGS:
RB-Fitzgerald Touissant-Sr-5'10-195-Michigan
RB-John Spooney-Jr-5'11-185-Brown
OT-Parker Graham-Sr-6'7-315-Oklahoma State
OT-James Hurst-Sr-6'5-296-North Carolina
DT-Derrick Hopkins-Sr-6'0-306-Virginia Tech
OLB-Xavius Boyd-Sr-6'1-236-Western Kentucky
DS-Avery Patterson-Sr-5'9-190-Oregon
ANALYSIS: The Ravens improved their defense, and got younger. Mosley was our #5 rated player. He is an instinctive LB, who fits what the Ravens like with their ILB’s. Jernigan slipped to round 2 because of some off field issues, but he fills a need as a 34 DE. Brooks could pair with Matt Elam to give the Ravens two interchangeable safeties. Gillmore will be a solid #2 TE.

TOTAL PICK VALUE: (141)

BIGGEST REACH PICK: Russell Bodine, OC, North Carolina
NOTABLE UNDRAFTED SIGNINGS:

WR-Alex Neutz-Sr-6'2-205-Buffalo
WR-Colin Lockett-Sr-6'0-180-San Diego State
DS-Isaiah Lewis-Sr-5'9-211-Michigan State
ANALYSIS: Dennard is a physical corner, who the Bengals may not need to play right away, depending on Leon Hall’s recovery. Jeremy Hill should be the replacement for BenJarvus Green-Ellis, but he comes with off field issues. Clarke has pass rush potential, but he is not there yet. They traded up to draft Bodine, who they will give every chance to start. This was only the third time in franchise history, they traded up to draft a player. McCarron will likely be the #3 QB this season, with an eye to being a long term backup.

ILB-Greg Blair-Sr-6'1-252-Cincinnati
DS-Jacques Washington-Sr-6'1-215-Iowa State
DS-Nickoe Whitley-Sr-6'0-205-Mississippi State
ANALYSIS: This draft will be solely judged on Johnny Manziel. I wonder if Manziel’s style will allow him to make it through a 16 game season. Gilbert is a good corner, but I don’t think he was worth the #8 pick. Bitonio can play all five positions on the line, and will likely stat at guard this season. Kirksey is a very athletic, sideline-to-sideline player that should play immediately. West could feasibly start this season, even over free agent signing Ben Tate. Desir is a long and athletic corner. He doesn’t fill an immediate need, but could be a long term starter.

DE-Josh Mauro-Sr-6'6-271-Stanford
OLB-Howard Jones-Sr-6'2-235-Shepherd
QB-Brendan Kay-Sr-6'3-233-Cincinnati
ANALYSIS: Shazier and Tuitt provide an infusion of youth that is much needed in Pittsburgh. Archer will provide an “offensive weapon” that which the Steelers don’t currently have. Bryant is a big fast WR that is currently not on the roster. Johnson, Zumwalt, and McCullers should all provide solid depth.

DE-Jason Ankrah-Sr-6'4-265-Nebraska
DE-Julius Warmsley-Sr-6'1-276-Tulane
TE-Chris Coyle-Sr-6'3-230-Arizona State

ANALYSIS: The Texans had the #1 pick and used it wisely. They chose a once-in-a-generation talent in Clowney. Him and J.J. Watt together, good luck with that. I love the trade up in the 3rd round to acquire Nix. If he can control his weight, he could be their future at nose. Su’a-Filo is a monster at guard, and should start immediately. Fiedorowicz should be at worst a good #2 TE, with potential to be a starter. Hal should be a solid dime corner. Pagan is a good depth pick. He should fit in nicely as 34 end for Houston. I really do not get the Tom Savage hype. He will be a near 25 year old rookie, with average skills, but a really strong arm. I do not see him as being able to be an average NFL starter, much less a good one. I like undrafted signee Chris Coyle to be an h-back type in the mold of former Texan, James Casey.

RB-Branden Oliver-Sr-5'8-202-Buffalo
CB-Kameron Jackson-Jr-5'9-175-Cal
CB-Louchiez Purifoy-Jr-5'11-190-Florida

ANALYSIS: I was not a big fan of the Colts draft as a whole. I really liked the pick of Andrew Jackson in the 5th round. He is not the fastest player, but he has good instincts, and lays the wood when need be. Mewhort and Moncrief are both solid players, but we had a 4th round grade on each player. Louchiez Purifoy is an interesting player. He has solid cover skills, but not the best work ethic. He has a chance to make the team.

DS-Craig Loston-Sr-6'0-217-LSU
LS-Trevor Gillette-Sr-6'3-240-Rice

ANALYSIS: The Jaguars draft was hit or miss for me. Bortles has the potential to be the top signal caller in this draft, but he could also be a huge bust. The Jags did a good job in giving Bortles some weapons. Marqise Lee slipped right into their hands in the 2nd round, and they made a move up to grab Allen Robinson. I did not like the Linder pick. I had a 7th round grade on him. He is a physical player, but gets beat too much for me. Colvin tore his ACL during Senior Bowl practice, but has starting potential in 2015. Telvin Smith is an uber-athletic LB/safety combo that simply makes plays. He slid a little bit, partly due to a positive test at the combine. Chris Smith is another very fast player that fits perfectly in the Jacksonville scheme. Storm Johnson was a very good pickup in the 7th. He should contribute early. I would also say that undrafted TE Marcel Jensen has a good shot to make it.

DS-Hakeem Smith-Sr-6'1-185-Louisville
DE-Jamil Merrill-Sr-6'4-249-Rutgers

ANALYSIS: Unless the Titans are going to trade or release Michael Roos, I don’t see the immediate need for Taylor Lewan. Sankey was our #1 RB by a wide margin, and should be the day one starter. It would not surprise me if Zach Mettenberger was starting for Tennessee in 2015, if not sooner. Jones is a good rotation DT pickup. Huff and Williamson should be day one special teams contributors, but not great value picks. I could see at least four undrafted players making the team. I really like Antonio Andrews to be the backup/#3 RB behind Sankey.

ANALYSIS: The good thing about being the Broncos is you don’t have many needs. Roby has the potential to be a #1 corner, but he does not have to be rushed. Latimer is another potential big time player, who starting shooting up draft boards late in the process. He could be the Eric Decker replacement. I thought Schofield would have made for a nice depth pick, but the Broncos drafted him in a position to be an eventual starter. I like Barrow to be a special teams ace, while being a solid backup. Nelson could be an eventual starter once he recovers. Shaquil Barrett is an intriguing undrafted player. He has tremendous pass rush upside.

ANALYSIS: Kansas City had a very solid draft, but nothing that says wow. Dee Ford was an interesting pick, because he probably won’t see the field in 2014. However, Tamba Hali is in a contract year, and this may be his ticket out the door. Gaines is a very good man coverage corner. Thomas should assume the Dexter McCluster role, who left the team as a free agent. Murray should make backup QB Chase Daniel and his $4M salary expendable. Fulton and Duvernay-Tardif should be solid backup/rotation linemen.

ANALYSIS:  I think the Raiders had the best draft of any team. Mack is an athletic terror, who immediately makes their defense better. I would be shocked if Derek Carr isn’t the starting QB by years end. Gabe Jackson is a mauling guard, and like Larry Warford (Lions) a year ago, will have a huge impact on the Oakland offensive line. McGill is a tall, long armed corner, who has starter potential. Ellis has potential to be a solid fixture at nose tackle. I really like the pick of Dowling in the 7th round. He is a ball hawking safety. Noel Grigsby and Mike Davis, both have a chance to make the team as undrafted receivers.

ANALYSIS:  The Chargers had a sneaky good draft. Verrett was our number one corner. He plays much bigger than his size, with good arm length and tremendous recovery speed. Attaochu should make an impact immediately as a pass rushing 34 outside linebacker. Watt was the only head scratching pick for me. I did not have a draftable grade on him, but San Diego thought enough of him to make him a 3rd round pick. Carrethers could be a starting nose tackle in the future. Grice and Reese were tremendous value where they were selected.
